The goal of the Georgian Bay Committee is to ensure that the wilderness aspects of the Bay are preserved through:

To these ends, the Georgian Bay Committee has in the past participated in Ontario’s Lands for Life process. We have also constructed, installed and maintained privies at some of the more heavily used campsites on the Bay. In addition, we conduct annual clean-ups on Franklin, Snake, Mink and McCoy Islands in conjunction with GLSKA’s Fall Gathering.
