GEORGIAN BAY OSPREY
The Georgian Bay Osprey Society (GBOS) is a volunteer network of people dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Georgian Bay osprey. GLSKA members, or anyone else, paddling on Georgian Bay can assist the GBOS by reporting osprey activity and nest locations to GBOS president John Hodge at mjhodge@sympatico.ca.
Paddlers who are able to monitor a nest regularly are also invited to contact John. GBOS will supply information about osprey nests where they currently do not have monitors. They will also provide nest-site details, nest monitoring forms, tips on how to approach nests and GBOS brochures.
